Visit a Rehearsal

Guests are always welcome at our rehearsals. We rehearseevery Wednesday night from 6:30-9:00 pm.  Just wear casual clothing and comfortable shoes!

 

Our rehearsal hall is located at:

(East Ave.) Hope Commons Church, 1184 East Avenue,    Chico, CA 95926

 

Members are not required to

read music; we have a great library of learning tracks available for all who learn by ear. When you attend a rehearsal, new guests will be privately interviewed by one of our music leaders who will listen to your vocal range and place you in one of the four barbershop voice parts to start (bass, baritone, lead or tenor). You will then get a "riser buddy" who sings your voice part to help you along. For those who may be nervous about singing in front of others, no worries there. We have safety in numbers and we are prepared! Lu starts each rehearsal with a vocal lesson and continues to support us as we practice. We also help each other in a friendly and welcoming environment to develop and hone our skills.
