Sounds of the Valley Chorus Leadership

Sounds of the Valley Chorus thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are a few of the people that make our ensemble tick:

 

 

 

Lu - Our Director

Lu is a charter member of Sounds of the Valley Chorus.  She was an assistant director and Bass section leader of the chorus for many years before becoming our director in 1992.  Lu brings to us a background of musical talent and ability as well as boundless enthusiasm.  She is Ms. Hollywood and Broadway combined with more than a touch of Billy Rose showmanship!

 

 

 

 

Ann Pyeatt - President

Ann is a long time member of Sounds of the Valley and has held many offices.  Most recently she organized the chorus' New Member Drives in 2013 and 2014 which resulted in growth of eight new singers.  She is retired from Chico State University.

Mary Beth 

Mary Beth is a multi-talented woman who is section leader for the Leads and Baritones.  In addition to her musical skills, she creates wonderful decorations for our shows and chorus events, and is co-choreographer.
